Bank Of Baroda Uganda has achieved star status on the local bourse during the first reporting season of 2019.The achievement came on the basis of strong profits and dividends posted last year. Bank Of Baroda Uganda is a commercial bank in Uganda licensed by the Bank of Uganda, the national banking regulator. It is actively involved in all aspects of commercial banking, focusing on both SMEs and large corporations, as well as private individuals. Bank of Baroda(BOB) is an international bank with headquarters in Mumbai, India. BBU owns all of Baroda Capital Markets (Uganda) Limited, which was established in 1993. Bank of Baroda recorded a profit after tax of ($19.3 million) in 2018 against $13 million in 2017. Its full- year dividend also rose from $0.001 per share in 2017 to $0.003 per share in 2018.
