(3 Minutes Read)

In the first two months of 2025, trade between the two countries experienced significant growth, with the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee reporting a 56% increase in trade volume from January to February compared to the same period in 2024. This growth reflects a solid advancement in their bilateral economic ties.

This trend aligns with commitments established during the second session of the Morocco-Azerbaijan Joint Commission, held in Rabat in November 2023. Co-chaired by Ministers Bourita and Jeyhun Bayramov, the meeting resulted in several agreements to enhance cooperation in critical sectors like energy and logistics.

The increase in trade highlights both nations’ efforts to foster economic collaboration through strategic partnerships and diversification of sectors. The rise in financial exchanges indicates growing compatibility between their markets, supported by ongoing communication between government bodies and business leaders.
