Arab Union Construction Company Complains about Presence of Armed Groups in Front of Factory

The call for government intervention by Zliten Municipality comes on the back of an arrest order issued by the Attorney General to arrest several accused of stopping operations at the cement factory

The Municipal Council of Zliten called on the Tripoli-based Libyan Prime Minister, Abdel Hamid Aldabaiba, and his Ministry of Defence to intervene urgently to resolve the dispute in front of the Arab Union Construction Company cement factory in the city. The company complained about the presence of armed groups in front of the factory.‎

‎The council demanded the withdrawal of forces from outside the city in front of the factory, emphasizing the need for peaceful solutions and negotiations to resolve the matter.
