The Algerian-Turkish economic forum begins in Algiers on Tuesday evening, under the leadership of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Algerian Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui. The Algerian-Turkish economic forum is being organised by the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACI) at the International Conference Centre (CIC), as part of the Turkish President’s official visit to Algeria at the head of a large delegation.
This event with the theme “For a productive and sustainable economic partnership”, which will be attended by a large delegation of businessmen and company directors from both countries, aims to give new impetus to the economic partnership and to explore business and investment opportunities between the two countries.

During the forum, “B to B” business meetings are scheduled between Algerian and Turkish company directors operating in various fields, including industry, energy, mining, renewable energies, public works and basic infrastructure.
There are some 1,550 Turkish companies operating in Algeria, with investments totalling 6 billion dollars.
