Algerian Foreign Trade Minister Visits Sétif Industrial Zone

The Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Mohamed Boukhari, visited the Sétif industrial zone recently to supervise the departure of three shipments of products destined for export to African and European countries.

During the visit, Minister Mohamed Boukhari launched several export initiatives, including 19,000 m² of ceramic tiles manufactured by Ceram Glass for Libya, a first batch of household appliances produced by Samsung-Sinova of Sétif for Tunisia, and cellulose paper from Faderco for the UK, Tunisia and Belgium.

During the visit, Minister Mohamed Boukhari launched several export initiatives, including 19,000 m² of ceramic tiles manufactured by Ceram Glass for Libya, a first batch of household appliances produced by Samsung-Sinova of Sétif for Tunisia, and cellulose paper from Faderco for the UK, Tunisia and Belgium.

He underlined Sétif’s considerable production and export capacities, highlighting the quality and competitiveness of Algerian products on international markets. He also hailed the diversification of export markets, extending to Africa, the Arab world and Europe.

He also reaffirmed his ministry’s commitment to supporting Algerian producers and exporters to achieve the foreign trade targets set for 2027.
