In a bid to boost two-way trade and investment, the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry proposes to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI).
- The proposal was conveyed to FBCCI President Md Jashim Uddin by the Algerian Ambassador to Dhaka Rabah Larbi while paying a courtesy call on him.

Algeria and Bangladesh have a growing trade volume. Algeria imports jute and jute products, woven and knitwear, home textiles and footwear from Bangladesh. The country also imports huge quantities of consumer goods, cereals, dairy products, plastics, medicines, manmade filaments, glass and ceramics, leather goods, and electronics annually from the world market.
