The decision of Air Seychelles to increase flight frequency with Abhu Dhabi is a direct response to the rising demand from both leisure and corporate travellers. Charles Johnson, chief commercial officer of Air Seychelles, expressed his satisfaction with the route’s success to date. Through a codeshare agreement with Etihad Airways, the flight provides an important link to tourism growth for Seychelles. The route is estimated to provide over 57,000 tourists to Seychelles in a year, with passengers predominantly originating from Europe, Middle East and Russia.
