Air Seychelles resumed flights to Tel Aviv on March 23 as travel restrictions were removed. Importantly, the reopening of Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport has paved the way for easing the travel restrictions from Israel into the Island Nation.
The commencement of the flights has coincided with the Passover Holidays (March 23 to 27), when people in Israel take holidays. Air Seychelles has been operating four flights from Tel Aviv to Seychelles during these days. The duration of the flight is 6 hour and 20 minute. The airline has pressed into service its Airbus A320neo aircraft
From now onwards, Air Seychelles will operate three weekly flights from March 31 on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays throughout the summer season. Travelers arriving from Tel Aviv to the Seychelles must hold a negative COVID‐19 PCR test certificate taken before 72 hours of departure. Travelers must also complete the mandatory Health Travel Authorization at seychelles.govtas.com.”
Air Seychelles said that as travelling to Israel is still not permitted to foreign nationals for leisure purposes, an entry clearance certified by an Israeli consulate or by the Population and Immigration Authority of Israel will be required upon reservation for residents of Seychelles travelling to that country.
