Egypt’s Petroleum Ministry said that the country’s crude oil production exceeded 62,000 barrels per day (bpd). It is an all time record since the Petroleum Corporation’s establishment in 1957. The ministry said that this high record in production was due to the successful implementation of the integrated work program in the various oilfields of the company in the Eastern and Western Desert areas, the Gulf of Suez and Sinai.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the company managed to up its crude oil production. it is a right step to achieve the company’s goals of continuing to increase the crude output in the coming period, it added.
