A fresh stage of collaboration has officially begun between the Tunisian Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training and the Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC), based in Ankara. This development follows a high-level meeting held on Tuesday at the ministry’s headquarters, where representatives from both institutions outlined a shared vision for deeper cooperation.
During the meeting, the two parties agreed to set up a joint technical committee that will spearhead the preparation of a draft Memorandum of Understanding. This memorandum is intended to formalize and expand their partnership in several key areas, including employment policy, initial and ongoing vocational training, capacity-building for trainers, and the development of training methodologies and frameworks.
