Ethiopia and France signed two agreements aggregating €20 million for renovation works of heritage buildings. The grants are for the renovation of the National Palace and to support a program of the Agricultural Transformation Agency.
A part of the grant – €12 million- will be used to partially finance the first phase of the renovation and opening of the National Palace. The remaining €8 million will be used to support the Agricultural Transformation Agency (ATA) MSMEs Development program.
This is a part of the Agriculture Commercialization Cluster (ACC) program that has been supported by other development partners, such as the Danish and Dutch Embassies and the European Union.
