Due to the social unrest currently affecting Madagascar, Air Mauritius has announced a series of measures to offer more flexibility to its passengers traveling to or from Antananarivo.
Thus, all passengers holding MK/239 tickets can change their flight dates free of charge for any request made between September 29 and October 6, 2025, subject to availability. However, any fare difference related to a change of class, seasonality, or itinerary change will still apply.

Passengers who choose to cancel their trip will have the option of being issued an electronic ticket (EMD) valid for future travel with the national airline. Air Mauritius emphasized that it is closely monitoring the evolving situation in Madagascar and that an update will be provided after October 6, 2025.
