Prime Minister Madbouly stated that he had met with Jack Wei, Chairman of Great Wall Motors, during the China-Africa Cooperation Forum held in Beijing last September
Chinese company Great Wall Motors is planning to establish a project for car and spare parts production in the Suez Canal Economic Zone. In this regard,Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, held a meeting today with Ming Xian Jun, the Vice President of Great Wall Motors, a leading manufacturer of cars and trucks.Madbouly stated that he had met with Jack Wei, Chairman of Great Wall Motors, during the China-Africa Cooperation Forum held in Beijing last September.
During their meeting, Wei expressed the company’s interest in launching a significant project to produce cars and spare parts in the Suez Canal Economic Zone. Madbouly added that during his conversation with the Chairman, he assured the company of Egypt’s readiness to provide all necessary support for the project, including special incentives for investments in the Suez Canal Economic Zone, as well as incentives outlined in Egypt’s export support program.

The Prime Minister emphasized that Egypt would offer all possible incentives for the company to establish its factories in the country, provided that the agreement for the project is finalized before the end of December.
Ming Xian Jun explained that Great Wall Motors specializes in producing vehicles, spare parts, and components, and manufacturing truck chassis and spare parts.
