Africa receives corporate donations for prevention of Coronavirus

Minister Abiy Ahmed   about the financial support package for the
whole of Africa for combating the spread of coronavirus for the
continent, Chinese business Mogul Jack Ma confirmed millions of
dollars for preventive measures.

Close on the heels of announcement of Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy
Ahmed   about the financial support package for the whole of Africa
for combating spread of coronavirus pandemic, Chinese business Mogul
Jack Ma confirmed millions of dollar for preventive measures.

Jack Ma Foundation together with Alibaba Foundation will donate to
each one of the 54 African nations 20,000 testing kits, 100,000 masks,
and 1,000 medical use protective suits and face shields.

These two organizations also engage with medical institutions in
Africa to provide online training material for COVID-19 clinical
treatment. The first lot of supplies will reach the Ethiopian capital
Addis Ababa shortly. Ethiopian Prime Minister  Abby Ahmed  will
disseminate to all 54 countries and   has agreed to lead in managing
the logistics and disbursement efforts. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed
recently announced that he had secured a continent -wide support for
combating coronavirus from Chinese businessman Jack Ma. In November
last year, Ma was in Addis Ababa where he met with Abiy, where two
parties discussed the launch of the Electronic World Trade Platform in
