The delegation was led by Impelluso Carmelo, the group’s regional director for North Africa and the Middle East, who introduced a project aimed at manufacturing medium and heavy utility vehicles in Algeria, according to a statement from the ministry.
The meeting, held at the ministry’s headquarters and attended by the Italian ambassador to Algeria, Alberto Cutillo, allowed the Italian partner to outline the policies of the “IVECO” automotive group. The statement indicated that these policies focus on addressing the needs of the Algerian market while also emphasizing export opportunities. The project’s first phase will focus on meeting the needs of the Algerian market, and the second phase will focus on export opportunities.
