Egypt and Japan cooperation portfolio backing over 18 projects worth around USD 3.9 billion. These initiatives span crucial sectors like health, education, energy, and more, aligning with Egypt’s sustainable development objectives, according to a statement released by the Ministry of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation.
This came during the meeting between Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation, Rania Al-Mashat, and Japanese Ambassador to Egypt Oka Hiroshi on enhancing economic relations between the two countries in light of shared priorities and interests.
Al-Mashat also addressed strengthening international partnerships in industrial localization and human development, especially as the two countries commemorate 70 years of diplomatic relations.
