Egypt and Belarus to intensify bilateral economic ties

Egypt and Belarus are poised to intensify bilateral trade and industrial cooperation. Both the countries have signed 12 agreements and memorandum of understanding (MoUs).The agreements were signed recently in Cairo in the presence of Minister of Trade and Industry Nevien Gamea, Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Saeed el-Assar and Belarusian Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Minister Vladimir Koltovich.

The deals included agreements in the field of Science, Agriculture and rural development, Agri machinery, etc. Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, signed an MOU in the field of science, while an Egyptian company in the Agri and Rural development sector signed a memorandum with the Belarusian Amkodor Holding Company and an agreement with Minsk Tractor Works. The MOUs also covered business strategy of the Egyptian-Belarusian Business Council, a memorandum of supply of products between Raya Holding Company and the Belarusian Bella Das Company, and a contract for the supply of products between Helwan Machinery and Equipment Company and the Belarusian Maz Company.Supply agreements were signed  by the Belarusian Bobruisk Agromash Company, Amkodor, Minsk Motor Planet,BELMACHINERY etc.
