Ismail Omar Guelleh pledged support for the people of Djibouti to strengthen the already privileged ties between the two nations.

The President of the Republic of Djibouti, Mr. Ismail Omar Guelleh, congratulated the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Mr. Keir Starmer.

He said in the congratulatory note that the convincing victory of the Labour Party was the perfect illustration of the majority support of the views and vision of the party. He hoped that the United Kingdom would grow under Starmer’s leadership and underscored the need for a strong bilateral relationship between the two countries.
