Hertz Energy is advancing its uranium strategy with the submission of applications for uranium Exclusive Prospecting Licenses (EPLs) in Namibia. The application encompasses 9,630 hectares situated in Central Namibia.
Namibia, renowned for its abundant uranium resources, presents a promising prospect for Hertz Energy’s strategic expansion. With notable uranium operations such as the Husab and Rossing mines already established in the region, Namibia stands as a key player in the global uranium market, ranking third in production volume globally.
The company’s applications target regions within the Erongo province, known for hosting significant primary and secondary uranium deposits. These areas exhibit geological formations conducive to uranium mineralization, with promising indicators identified through preliminary radiometric surveys.
