Dele Alake, the Minister of Solid Minerals Development emphasized that the initiative aims to enable domestic travellers to visit their loved ones and hometowns. The move is seen as a gesture to enhance the well-being of citizens during the festive season. The discounted inter-state fares and complimentary train rides, slated to be in effect from December 21 to January 4, are part of a collaborative effort with companies operating luxury buses across 22 routes nationwide.
