Seychelles Holds Familiarisation Program to Market Tourist Spots

Over 60 overseas travel agencies and press personnel were in Seychelles as part of a mega familiarisation event hosted by Tourism Seychelles hosted a mega familiarisation event to market its tourist spots to the international audience. Over 60 representatives of overseas travel agencies and press corps took part in the program, which was organized by its Department of Tourism.

The event, which started on November 29, ended on December 2. It was attended by representatives from 46 travel agencies and 19 press partners. The aim was for the group to experience Seychelles firsthand so that they could later use that experience to sell holidays in the island nation to their respective clients.

Participants were involved in several activities, including hikes, excursions, touring various places of interest, and visiting other islands aside from Mahe, which is the largest island of the archipelago. The event was a first for Seychelles in terms of size.
