3rd International Fair on Environment and Renewable Energy in Algeria

The Algerian Ministry of Environment and Renewable Energies is organizing the 3rd International Fair of Environment and Renewable Energies which is scheduled to take place from 27 to 29 September at the Palais des Expositions Pins Maritimes.

The theme of the event is “Start-ups: locomotive for Sustainable Development and Green Economy in Algeria”, this reflects the Government’s approach to raising awareness of environmental issues and renewable energies, promoting the rationalization of natural resources, committing to the realization of sustainable development and to preserve the environment through national and international cooperation. The fair provides a platform for interaction and exchange of ideas and experiences in all fields related to the environment and renewable energies for the benefit of Algerian and overseas experts, representatives of industrial sectors, academics, and businessmen.

South Korea will be the guest of honour of this event which will allow it to benefit from the experience of this pioneering country in the field, revealed the ministry, recalling that Algeria was moving forward with a safe transition to the ecological transition in line with the requirements of the current period marked by growing demand of consumption in the face of the depletion of natural resources.

The event will see the organization of meetings, conferences, and workshops in addition to the signing of partnership agreements, on the sidelines of the fair, aimed at preserving the environment and promoting the use of renewable energy in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
