Dateline Energy Services (DESL) became the first Nigerian Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to design a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Coastal Carrier Barge

The Nigerian Gas Association participated in the prestigious Gastech 2023 conference held in Singapore in the first week of September (Between September 4 and 7, 2023). Organizations that participated in the meeting included the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG). The meeting gave them an opportunity to promote the Nigerian Decade of Gas agenda on a global stage.

Gastech is the world’s largest gathering of energy professionals. President of the NGA, Akachukwu Nwokedi, emphasized Nigeria’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions and the pivotal role of natural gas in the nation’s energy transition. Nigeria is at the forefront of the global energy landscape.  Its participation at Gastech 2023 underscored its commitment to drive positive change in the industry. Natural gas is an indispensable catalyst for sustainable development and energy security.

At Gastech 2023, Dateline Energy Services (DESL) became the first Nigerian Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to design a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Coastal Carrier Barge. DESL and CITRA SHIPYARD, a globally recognized shipbuilding company in Batam, Indonesia, leveraged the event to sign agreements with a few Nigerian entities.
