Nearly 9 months after the war between Russia and Ukraine erupted, thousands have died and its consequences continue to disrupt the global economy. It also contributed to rising prices around the world.

The International Monetary Fund estimates that global inflation will peak at 9.5% this year, the hardest hit being developing countries.
