It appears that the opposition is complaining about the counting. A parallel count done by the opposition party in various polling stations is indicating a different set of results. But, that was when the counting took place for only one-third of the votes. UNITA also complained about the announcement of provisional results by the National Electoral Commission. By the time this story is filed, the election commission is yet to announce the results. On the other hand, the MPLA feels that they have clinched the deals; but has many points to take from the keen competition, including erosion of lead from 60 percent last election to 51.7% now.
