To obviate the possible challenges if one travels with an African passport, a digital platform to address the various disadvantages is in the making. Challenges of traveling Africans commonly faced include prejudices based on the country of origin to difficulty in obtaining a visa. The platform is named as “Countless Miles”. Moni Baruwa, the person behind the creation of the platform says that she was discriminated against at the Chinese visa center, despite the fact that she had all the necessary documents to apply for the visa. That discomfort and embarrassment had fortified her determination to evolve a digital platform wherein, human interfaces are avoided. The digital platform was created to empower Africans to travel as they see fit. The platform is still evolving and will be completed soon.
