Remittances of Egyptians working abroad increased 11.6% in August 2021 to reach US$ 2.7 billion compared with US$ 2.4 billion during the corresponding period of 2020.

 

 

Total remittances of Egyptians increased by 10.4% compared with the corresponding period in 2020 to stand at US$ 21.4 billion. There is considerable inflows of remittances to the country mostly from the Middle East countries, where a large number of Egyptians are looking.
