The company proposes to complete its expansion plans by 2023 and projected a significant job creation for the country. After the proposed expansion, the employee strength is expected to go up to 400 from the existing employees numbering 120. The proposed expansion will include a transition into a more environmentally sustainable company.
Opened in 2018, in the Mid-Parc Free Trade Zone, the Casablanca plant manufactures core parts for the aerospace industry. Minister of Industry, Trade and Green and Digital Economy Moulay Elalamy observed that on the expansion plan of Hexcel boosted the confidence in Morocco’s dynamic aeronautics sector in creating a carbon-free global economy.
Morocco has been taking aggressive initiatives to project itself as a viable investment destination for the aeronautical industry by seeking partnerships with top aerospace companies. The initiative has attracted some leaders in the sector like Boeing.
