Radisson Hotel Group enters Djibouti

· Despite the uncertainties in the hospitality sector induced by the Pandemic, Radisson Hotel Group has announced the signing of Radisson Hotel Djibouti which will further strengthen the Hotel’s strategic presence in Africa.

· The new move takes the Group’s East African portfolio to 18 hotels and over 2700 rooms in operation and under development while it has close to 100 hotels in operation and under development in the continent.

Despite the uncertainties in the hospitality sector induced by the Pandemic, Radisson Hotel Group has announced the signing of Radisson Hotel Djibouti which will further strengthen the Hotel’s strategic presence in Africa. The new move takes the Group’s East African portfolio to 18 hotels and over 2700 rooms in operation and under development while it has close to 100 hotels in operation and under development in the continent.

The 144 room Radisson Hotel Djibouti is scheduled to open in 2024,with modern standard rooms as well as suites. The hotel boasts of dining option of international and local cuisine, expansive and versatile meeting and events facilities

 

The Radisson Hotel Djibouti will be located at 15 minutes away from Djibouti International Airport, surrounded by key landmarks such as the Djibouti Port, Djibouti Free Zone, international headquarters, shopping malls and the seaside, providing the ideal combination for business and leisure.

The country proposes to boost its tourism industry. Djibouti’s greatest advantage is its strategic location at the southern entrance to the Red Sea, between Africa and the Middle East. Its port is considered as one of the most sophisticated in the world at the intersection of major international shipping lanes connecting Asia, Africa, and Europe.
