Experts feel that this is an alarming situation against the forecast that the continent may face the wrath of a third wave if proper precautions are not taken in a country where health infrastructure is fragile and grossly inadequate.
Last week the U.S. had allocated 5 million doses to Africa through the United Nations-backed COVAX program as part of a plan to share 25 million doses worldwide.
