·       Morocco has relaxed anti-coronavirus restrictions starting from June 1, while continuing its vaccination drive of its people.

Morocco has relaxed anti-coronavirus restrictions starting from June 1, while continuing its vaccination drive of its people.

According to the new norms announced by the government, gatherings and activities will be allowed up to 50 people indoors and 100 people outdoors. Public transport capacity has been raised to 75% and theatres, cinemas, culture centers, libraries, museums can function with 50% of their capacity. Wedding halls will also be allowed with attendance restricted to100 people. Beaches and swimming pools will also be open at 50% capacity.

Mosques can perform the five daily prayers and the Friday prayers in accordance with the necessary preventive measures such as social distancing and the wearing of face masks.
