Nigeria appoints Rabiu Yadudu to the World Governing Council of the Airports Council International

·        The Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Rabiu Yadudu, has been appointed to the World Governing Council of the Airports Council International (ACI) as a member

·         Along with him, Emanuel Chavez of Aeroportos de Mozambique and Dewananda Chellen of Airports of Mauritius Co. Ltd. were also roped in to represent Africa on the Board

·        Yadudu qualified as Captain on B747 from the PAN AM International Flight Academy, Miami, Florida in 2001

The Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Rabiu Yadudu, has been appointed to the World Governing Council of the Airports Council International (ACI) as a member. Along with him, Emanuel Chavez of Aeroportos de Mozambique and Dewananda Chellen of Airports of Mauritius Co. Ltd. were also roped in to represent Africa on the Board.

Educated at the Federal Government College Ikot Ekpene for his secondary education, Yadudu had undergone aircraft maintenance engineering course at the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria and passed out in 1993.  Later, he joined Delta Aeronautics, Fort Worth, Texas, USA, to obtain his Commercial/ Multi-engine Pilot License.

Yadudu qualified as Captain on B747 from the PAN AM International Flight Academy, Miami, Florida in 2001. Later, he pursued the course at  Bombardier Aerospace Training Centre, Dallas TX USA where he graduated in 2007. He also served as the Director of Airport Operations of the Authority before being appointed as the Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer of the FAAN,
