In a bid to raise cash and part of a strategy of selling some assets, Airtel Africa Plc is seeking to sell a minority stake in its mobile financial services platform Airtel Money. The company that has a presence in 14 African countries such as Kenya, Uganda and Nigeria said in a statement that they are actively pursuing the sale of the remaining owned tower sites that sit across several of their operating countries. The group is also in discussions with various potential investors seeking possible minority investments into Airtel Money.
