The city of Tangier is set to host the 17th edition of the prestigious MEDays Forum from November 26 to 29, 2025, with a focus on the intensifying geopolitical tensions and the shifting international landscape. The event will emphasize the role of Africa and other nations of the Global South in navigating and shaping these global developments.
Organized by Institut Amadeus in partnership with the MEDays Forum Foundation, this year’s gathering will bring together a distinguished lineup of more than 300 high-profile speakers. Participants will include heads of state, government ministers, influential economic decision-makers, and leading experts from a broad range of sectors.
More than 7,000 attendees representing over 120 countries are expected to take part in this international forum, which will be held under the central theme: “Fractures and Polarization: Reinventing the Global Equation.” The theme reflects the forum’s intent to delve into the deepening divisions across nations and societies, and to explore new paradigms for global cooperation and governance.
Continuing its tradition, the 2025 edition will feature over 50 sessions addressing a diverse range of strategic topics. These discussions will not only examine pressing global challenges but also highlight emerging opportunities—particularly for African nations and countries across the Global South.

In a statement, the organizers emphasized that the forum will provide a unique space for constructive dialogue and international influence. By addressing the opportunities born out of crisis situations, MEDays 2025 aims to promote innovative thinking and forge stronger cooperation among rising global players.
